ACROPORA Eco-Trail Run at Palmetto Bay
ACROPORA is an Eco Trail Run to raise awareness on World Oceans Day, June 10th, in support of the Bay Islands Conservation Association (BICA).
BICA is a grassroots organization founded by a group of islanders and foreign residents who were concerned about the deterioration of the environment in the Bay Islands.
BICA works with the Roatan Marine Park in their efforts to raise awareness for the National Marine Park, which surrounds all three of the Bay Islands.
All funds raised through the Eco Trail Run will go directly to BICA Roatan Chapter conservation efforts and to implementing its programs in the communities that surround the protected marine areas.
