As we get a little closer to the end of this year, it’s time to start preparing for the upcoming high season.
Roatan has been receiving lots of great press, we have been seeing many new restaurants and activities open throughout the year and overall the island’s tourism services have been growing as the destination develops and diversifies.
Christmas, New Year and the first few months of the new year are popular times to visit Roatan, you escape the colder months in Northern America and get to enjoy the island at its very best.
As always West End and West Bay are popular locations, but we are also seeing a lot of interest in surrounding areas such as Sandy Bay, Lawson Rock and Pristine Bay. Only a short drive from the more touristic locations, these surrounding areas allow you to enjoy the tourist hot spots but also enjoy the quieter pace of island life.
If you are planning to travel during high season, we recommend booking as far in advance as possible as rentals can fill up quickly.

Condo was beautiful with a 1 min walk to a private beach with a two story pier to look out over the ocean. Plus kayaks and private pool. Has a wonderful cafe. Also is within 10-15 min drive for food, beaches, activities or shopping! A wonderful place to stay with great and accommodating staff.
